The 1st District includes about 450,000 residents and encompasses the cities of Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake and most of the City of Riverside. The district also covers the unincorporated communities of Gavilan Hills, Good Hope, Lake Hills, Lake Mathews, Mead Valley, Meadowbrook, Temescal Valley, Woodcrest, Tenaja, DeLuz, LaCresta, Warm Springs, Lakeland Village, and Spring Hills.
Municipal Advisory Councils (MAC)
A MAC is made up of a group members who are local residents, or business owners. These members serve at the discretion of the County Supervisor and have alternating terms. The MAC is responsible for meeting with the community and assisting with concerns from local residents and business owners who are in need of specific services and/or simply need information about county processes. The MAC is also tasked with presenting new development projects and overall general issues to the community.
